SUPPLIES LIST

Concert Dress - All Black

1/2" 3 Ring binder with 15 sheet protectors

All students should have a music stand and metronome at home for practice.

Required Fundamentals Book

All Orchestra students please purchase Sound Innovations - Sound Development intermediate for your instrument.

All Band Students please purchase Sound Innovations - Ensemble Development intermediate for your instrument.

*Percussionists need both the Mallet and Percussion 1 Books

*Woodwind and Brass pick up the part 1 book

Violins, Violas - Extra set of strings, Shoulder rest (no foam pads allowed), cleaning cloth, and rosin.

Cellos, Basses - Cello or bass at home to practice. Rental of MRMS instrument for school rehearsals $100/yr. (Cello and basses stay at school)

Percussion - 5A drum sticks, practice xylophone or bell set along with a snare drum or practice pad at home. A required $60 DCSD percussion fee will be assessed once school starts.

Trumpets, Baritones, Tubas - Valve Oil, Slide Grease.

Trombones - Slide Grease (Slide O Mix)

Saxophones, Clarinets - Cork Grease, no less than 4 reeds in your case at all times, cleaning cloth/swab.

Flutes - Cleaning swab.
