MRMS STUDENTS ARE REMOTE LEARNING

NOVEMBER 11  THROUGH JANUARY 4

NO STUDENT remote learning on November 20, 2020

Thanksgiving break November 23 - 28

NEED TO KNOW

Several families in the metro area are unable to afford a traditional Thanksgiving meal this year. Interact Club would like to help as many families as we can by hosting a Turkey Drop and Drive. Saturday, November 14 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm., you can drop off a frozen turkey in the front parking lot of MRMS. Turkeys must be at least 12 pounds and frozen. We will be giving the turkeys to the Denver Rescue mission who will be putting together 15,000 meal kits, including our turkeys! Please consider giving to those in need this season.

Photo Retakes scheduled for November 11th will need to be rescheduled OR you may contact DR Photo to have the retakes taken at their studio.   303-346-2772

  • Picture packages already received will need to be returned prior to receiving the new photo packages.  Students may bring them to the main office and we will take care of getting them to DR Photo.

This letter from Douglas County Department of Human Services  describes resources available to families in need. For example, it explains to families how they can apply for support with food, shelter, health care, energy, etc.

Great news! We are working hard on the MRMS yearbook and it's time to purchase an ad for your 8th grader. What a way to make kids feel special by giving them a shout out during this crazy Covid learning time. This link will walk you through prices and sizes as well as direct instructions with Jostens of how to proceed. If you have any questions, please direct them to Jostens at the email/number provided. Any other questions should go directly to the yearbook adviser, Kate Morgan.
  • Want to add a Baby Ad for your eight grader in our 20-21 Yearbook?  See more info here.
