THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MAY CHANGE DUE TO COVID-19

The school is open for early-arriving students beginning at 6:45 am. The first bell rings at 7:25 am and students are to be in their classroom before the 7:30 am bell.

Reporting an absence

To report an absence for your student, please call the 24-hour attendance line, 303-387-1802. Please state the date of your student's absence, his or her first and last name (spelling the last name), and the reason for the absence. All absences must be reported to the attendance office even if you've also notified your student's teachers.

Leaving early from school

Please note that you must come into the main office to sign out your student. If you know in advance that your child will be leaving early from school, please send them to school with a note from you, specifying at what time you'll be picking them up. Ask your student to come to the office with the note so that we may issue an early dismissal pass, which allows them to leave class early and meet you in the main office at the time that you designate. This helps to cut down on classroom interruptions and expedites your departure. If you're sending another adult to pick up your child, please send a note or call the office to specify who will be picking up your child, as we may not release your child to anyone besides a parent without your permission, even if the person is on your child's emergency contact list.

Tardy policy

Punctuality is among the self-disciplines that we encourage students to learn. Students are expected to be punctual for all classes throughout the year. Chronic tardiness is considered a form of absence; these situations will be addressed through our discipline policy. Teachers may assign lunch detentions to students for whom chronic unexcused tardiness is a problem.
