Open Enrollment
First Round Open Enrollment for the 24/25 school year opens on November 1st at 8am and closes on December 1st at 4:00pm. Schools will extend offers of open enrollment based on space availability by December 8th. Parents can see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on December 11th at 8:00 am and will have until December 18th at 4:00 pm, to log back in and accept any open enrollment offers. In the event you did not receive any offers during First Round, you will remain on a waitlist for Second Round of Open Enrollment, which opens on January 22rd at 8:00 am.

If you are open enrolled at a neighborhood school or attend a charter but would like to return to the neighborhood school associated with your address for the next school year (24/25) you must file an intent to return form by January 10, 2024.

All 6th grade Elementary students who live in the Mountain Ridge Middle School boundaries will automatically roll over to MRMS for middle school. If your 6th grade student is Open Enrolled to their current elementary school and you would like your student to attend MRMS 24-25 school year you will have to Open Enroll your student. If you live in another school's boundary your student will roll to the school that is connected to your current primary address.
